MacMillan Coffee morning

The Biggest Coffee morning in Eassie for Macmillan Cancer Support raised £850 plus approximately £48 in Gift Aid. This money will pay for Macmillan time to help people affected by cancer.

The coffee morning attended by Eassie School children, community and members and friends from near and far was held in the new Eassie community hall.

The main hall was full with tables squeezed in to accommodate the cheery crowd who spent generously on the baking and plant stalls, while sampling smiddy loaves, bite sized traybakes and of course the reknowned freshly baked pancakes.

The organisers would like to thank everyone for their help and support to enable ENKCA to as promised support others in return now the new hall is completed.

A special thank you to sponsors Ashbrook Nursery for donating a table of plants and Santander for donating and counting the takings!
An update on the smiddy loaf will follow once new recipes have been put to the test!
