Approximately 40 people enjoyed the annual strawberry walk and tea at Eassie & Nevay hall on 17th June. This year we were fortunate to have a lovely warm evening which encouraged 30 people, plus 4 dogs, to walk from the hall into the surrounding countryside. They returned to the hall 1 1/2 hours later to be joined by friends and neighbours for a wonderful tea, all home made by local people. We were delighted to welcome a couple of visitors from Drumshademuir Caravan Park who learned about the event from the Tourist Information Centre in Kirriemuir. They thoroughly enjoyed the evening and have been invited to join us again next year.
£194 was raised for hall funds and thanks go to all the ladies who provided home made jams and bakes plus fruit from their garden.
