Sunday was a great day for any kind of walk. The fact we could do it without first getting in a car made it even better. Having clues to follow and objects to find made it interesting even for those who find walking itself isn't entertainment enough - and to round it off - sandwiches and drinks when we arrived back at the hall with energy levels depleted.
[Fiona and Marianne hide the Treasure]
Thanks to Marianne Jenkins and Fiona Brown for all the hard work organising the Treasure Hunt and laying the clues. To Sheila Stewart, Audrey Duffy and Jane Brewster for making and or serving refreshments. To Gordon Brown for mowing the grass. To Philip Jenkins for repairing the sign boards. To Diane Ryan for putting out the mini Treasure Hunt at the School.
[Michael puts out the signs]
The oldest person pursuing the Treasure was 80 years of age. The youngest was still in his pram.
