Last night was Osprey Night.
Bradley Yule, who lives here in Balkeerie and who is a member of the Tayside Raptor Study Group enthralled his audience in our Community Hall with his talk about these interesting birds. Bradley's illustrated lecture described the life-cycle and migration pattern of the Ospreys, how they are monitored and ringed, and the measures which must be taken to protect the Ospreys from egg thieves.
Refreshments were served by Miriam and Stacey Cosgrove, and Diane Ryan.
